    he dries up all the rivers;
^(B)Bashan and ^(C)Carmel wither;
    the bloom of ^(D)Lebanon withers.
^5 (E)The mountains quake before him;
    ^(F)the hills melt;
the earth heaves before him,
    ^(G)the world and all who dwell in it.
^6 (H)Who can stand before his indignation?
    Who can endure the heat of his anger?
His wrath ^(I)is poured out like fire,
    and ^(J)the rocks are broken into pieces by him.
